Garden:

708 Macarthur is surrounded by established gardens including a variety of fruit trees, local natives, cottage garden plants and a small herb and vegetable garden. Fruit trees include quince, nashi, plumcot, walnut, fig, elderberry and passion fruit and recent plantings of lemons, lime, kaffir lime, olives and a bay tree help create an ever-changing and evolving leafy and aromatic outdoor space.

Outdoor seating is provided in the rear courtyard and front verandah. An outdoor clothesline is available for shared use, and the return verandah that surrounds the front and east entrances provide relaxing undercover areas for contemplating life, the universe and everything.

In the rear courtyard, there are various fruiting plants including a lemon, lime, strawberries and banana-passionfruit, and herbs including bay, rosemary, thyme, mint, oregano, chives and parsley. Tenants can sit and relax under the back verandah which overlooks the small herb and vegetable garden.
